This was a wonderful book. The characters cast long shadows and for once the main love interests are mature adults. This is new for Katie Fforde and I hope she will write more with older women as the central characters. The boomer generation still cuts a wide swath across the populations of most Englsih-speaking (and reading) nations and it's nice to read about romance amongst one's own age group. Perhaps books such as this one can influence other romance writers.Never fear, all you younger Katie Fforde fans, she's included another couple in the full bloom of youth and young love as well. The combination should please most readers of any age.GOING DUTCH is British chicklit at its very best.
