I picked the album up out of a clearance bin about 10 years ago, listened to about 5 minutes of it and put it out it on the shelf. With the advent of digital music, I burned a number of things to my iPhone and figured "why not". So, either my tastes radically changed over the last 10 years OR this is a "fun" album and I missed giving it a fair shake. It carries an almost country/late 50's rockabilly sound that borders on a new wave sound in a few places, and features hard-biting harmonica riffs and a vocalist that has a voice that fits none of the named motifs, but somehow brings it all together to create an enjoyable, unique sound.Verdict: buy it, then wonder why the thing is sitting in the bargain bin,
