I decided to buy this movie because I absolutely love Sasha Alexander. She's one of the few actresses who actually make it to the very top of my "love" list. I'm telling you this because I want you to recognize that I may have a slightly different reason to purchase it than you do. If you hate her (or even just don't want to watch a movie with her as a lead character), obviously, this is not going to be the movie for you. I had never seen this movie prior to the purchase. I NEVER buy before I watch because I think it's a monumental waste of money, but I couldn't seem to find a rental that was less than $5.00 for this hidden gem.As far as the overall plot line, it is not extremely original. I've never seen this exactly done before, but it's the typical deceit romance situation with a slight twist. I loved Rhys Darby in this movie as well. I especially like that he kept true to his New Zealand accent (one of my favorites). I'm not sure that many people actually know who Darby is (I know I didn't know much about him) but he is quite entertaining.I highly recommend this movie. If you're looking at this page, you're at least a little interested, so I say go for it. It's a relatively inexpensive film and I found it funny and heart-warming.
