Despite the problem pointed out in the review by Marvelous, this a good collection of tunes by one of the truly classic Black Gospel groups. The Caravans, led by Albertina Walker, spawned a lot of the great singers of Gospel's Golden Age, Shirley Caesar being the most famous. Black Gospel is too little known and too little of it is available, so I hate to see a good collection like this sit on Amazon with a one star review. The confusion pointed out in the other review is the fault of the label, but the Charly label has done so many nice Gospel releases that I hate to fault them too much for this one goof-up.If you like Gospel you will like this. If you don't know Black Gospel this would be a good place to start. Black Gospel has inspired so much of the Rock, Soul and popular music from the 1950's on, that it is a shame it is so little appreciated. Any music fan would do themselves a favor to pick up this reasonably priced and well done CD of Caravan classics. It's great music that should be better known.
